Required Paperwork

  • 1) Completed Roster

Acting as the coversheet of your required paperwork packet, this document is:

    • a list containing the first+last name of all adults (teachers, instructors, chaperones) AND youth in attendance

    • a record to keep track of the rest of the required paperwork for this field trip

Use this to track paperwork progress across your classroom. Please ensure this page is the top page of the paperwork packet on the day of your field trip.

    2) Liability Releases

In order to gain access to the program site, we require that ALL

    1. adults (chaperones, teachers, instructors)

    2. AND youth

bring signed liability release to the field trip. For any minors, this liability release must be signed by a legal guardian.

PLEASE NOTE: Any individuals without an appropriately signed release will not be permitted onto Wishtoyo grounds.

    3) Photo and Video Release

This one is not required,  but we always hope to capture the special moments of connection and learning during our field trips - with the appropriate permission from individuals (adults) and/or guardians.

Required Evaluations

  • For Students:

    • Pre-Trip Evaluation: Complete any time before the field trip

    • Post-Trip Evaluation: Complete 1-2 weeks after the field trip (both your poster and the handout are available to guide your learners in this post-trip eval! it is meant to be "open note")

    For Teachers/Instructors:

If you require a printable pdf version of any of the above, please contact Education Program Manager,  Cait McHugh: cmchugh@wishtoyo.org.

Field Trip Rules and Expectations

  • Please go over all of this information in class with students 1-3 days before your trip to prepare for your day.

Please also share with any adult chaperones/teachers/instructors that may attend.

Driving and Parking Directions

  • This map shows where the bus and any cars should park and how to enter the Village.

Please make sure to share this map with the bus driver before leaving your school/program site as we often have buses attempt to drop off in the Nicholas Canyon Beach parking lot.

There is NO ACCESS from the parking lot to the village. It is also EXTREMELY difficult to turn a full-sized bus around in the lot so adhering to these instructions is very important.
